The 40-foot Sea Ray is MTWA’s sport entry for groups who want sun, swim stops, and open bay without a mega-yacht footprint. Up to twelve guests share one hull — no shared charter, no strangers on deck.
Captain, fuel, and ice are in the flat rate. Optional jet ski when Peek lists it for your date. Two-hour sunsets, full Biscayne days, and Bimini overnights are all on the same hull.

What a Day on the 40 Sea Ray Actually Feels Like
Your confirmation email carries marina meet-up time and captain contact. You board ten minutes early with coolers ready. Lines cast off toward Government Cut and open Biscayne Bay.
Guests spread across the forward sunpad while the hull moves. At anchor, the swim platform sits inches above turquoise sandbar water. The climate-controlled lounge and wet bar stay cool when midday heat peaks on deck.
The route passes Star Island rooflines and Venetian Island bridges. If Atlantic chop builds, your captain shifts to the Intracoastal without losing the view. Golden hour returns with downtown glass reflecting off the bay.
On the water: Biscayne Bay is part of Biscayne National Park, one of the largest marine parks in the U.S. National Park System — 95% water, rich with coral, sea grass, and migratory marine life visible from the swim platform at anchor. Boating conduct is governed by Florida FWC guidelines. MTWA captains train to those standards as a baseline.

Everything You Need Before Departure
Marina Meet-Up
Your confirmation email includes the marina meet-up location, arrival time, and captain contact once your charter is reserved. Arrive at least ten minutes early.
Arrival Time
Arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled departure. Late arrivals reduce your charter time; your captain departs on schedule out of respect for all bookings.
What to Bring
Pack towels, sunscreen, sunglasses, photo ID, and your booking confirmation. Food and beverages welcome — soft-sided coolers only. No rolling ice chests.
Alcohol Policy
Guests 21 and older may bring alcohol with valid ID for verification. Soft-sided coolers only — no hard rolling ice chests permitted aboard. Ice is provided on the boat.
Kids & Families
Infants under 12 months are not recommended. Children under 12 on upper decks must wear USCG-approved life jackets while underway. Guests under 30 lbs need a parent-supplied properly fitted jacket.
Gratuity
Gratuity is not included in the charter rate. When your captain earns it — and they consistently do — a minimum of $50 per hour in cash is the MTWA-suggested starting point. Discretionary, always.
Cancellation
Cancellations must be submitted via email to Miamiwateradventures@outlook.com and confirmed in writing. Verbal requests or social-media messages do not constitute a cancellation. See the full refund schedule.

Your captain makes the final go/no-go call on every departure based on live sea state, wind, and forecast data. When Atlantic chop rises beyond safe conditions, the route pivots to the protected Intracoastal Waterway. FWC boating safety protocols are a minimum standard, not a ceiling.

Life Jackets & Guest Safety Protocols
USCG-approved life jackets are carried for all guests and are required for children under 12 on upper decks while underway. Children under 30 lbs require a parent-supplied fitted jacket. The 40 Sea Ray accommodates up to 12 guests. The guest count shown in your booking summary at time of checkout is the governing limit. If your party is larger, consider the 46 Flybridge or the 62 Azimut for higher capacity and upgraded amenities.
Where is the marina meet-up for the 40 Sea Ray?

What is included in the 40 Sea Ray charter rate?
Every charter rate includes your USCG-licensed captain, all fuel for your booked hours, ice for guest beverages, the forward sunpad, wide stern swim platform, climate-controlled lounge with head, entertainment system, and wet bar. The crew-deployed floating island is included subject to sea conditions. An optional jet ski add-on is available when listed on Peek for your specific date — it is not automatically included.
