Great experience! Captain Bill was perfect! What better way to experience the waters than from someone who has lived their entire life in Miami. Very knowledgeable and no fake or blow smoke here. Just a cut and dry man you feel great around!

Went for a quick snorkel trip during a work trip to Miami. The crew was super fun and professional and we had everything we needed to have a great time! Super knowledgeable about the local area and where to see wildlife. Also loved that we took the long route back to see all of Miami from the bay. Would recommend!!

The kindness, courtesy, and hospitality Mario and Nico showed my family on our first ever snorkeling adventure was amazing. The explanation of the process and the patience Nico exhibited made the experience enjoyable. Nico was a great captain on our private boat tour. Very personable. I couldn’t swim but he jumped in the water and was the guide for myself and family so we could experience the beautiful sites under the water. The cost was reasonable and definitely worth it (the tour and snorkeling). A must do!

Captain Nico and Javier! Mucho gusto por su hospitalidad. You made our last minute booking comfortable and fun for our family of 4 under 7. From snorkeling to sandbar we saw dolphins, a manatee that swam right under our boat, HUGE conchs and so many cool creatures. For those of us that were hesitant you were patient and encouraging. Thank you for everything. We can't wait to come back and do it again!

Captain Erik was so much fun! He was very knowledgeable about the area and the marine life in the area! While snorkeling we saw conch and stingrays, lots of fish including red tailed snapper and yellow tailed snapper! My husband saw a small nurse shark hiding in the reef and on the way back to the dock we saw dolphins!!! 5 stars!

Felipe was personal, friendly, and very patient. You can tell he enjoys this job. I had a 10-year-old son with me snorkeling for the very first time. My son was so comfortable with him that he held on to the float and snorkel while Felipe dragged him in the water. It was a private boat tour and snorkel. Beautiful view of all the high rises and Felipe filled us in the history. Thank you Felipe for making it memorable.

We had an absolute blast! We booked a 3 hour private boat and we could not have asked for a better experience. Booking the experience was easy, we were met as soon as we arrived and escorted to our boat. Captain Erik was excellent and professional and a really nice guy! He was knowledgeable about the area, we felt safe, he took us snorkeling and was always on top of safety and giving us the best experience. We saw Manatees, we saw dolphins. Erik gave us everything and more! We had time to snorkel as well as swim at the sand bar as well as touring around Fisher Island and all along the coast. Erik could not have been better. We were so lucky to have gotten him as our Captain. Highly recommend. Three hours felt more like five. It was the highlight of our trip! Thank you so much!

The Charter Experience

What a Private Bay Day Actually Feels Like

Your Peek confirmation carries marina meet-up time and captain contact. You board with your group only. Lines cast off toward Government Cut and open Biscayne Bay with downtown towers ahead.

Use the hours for photos past Star Island, a swim stop when the captain calls conditions calm, or a slow cruise with the cooler you packed. Longer blocks give room for sandbar time or an Intracoastal detour when bay seas run up.

On the water: Biscayne Bay sits inside Biscayne National Park. Your captain routes for conditions, traffic, and the hours you booked. Swim stops happen when seas and visibility support safe entry. Boating conduct follows Florida FWC guidelines.

Where We Go

Your Route on Biscayne Bay

Every private boat tour routes through protected Miami waters your captain knows by tide, wind, and season.

Government Cut & Open Bay

Lines cast off toward Government Cut. Downtown towers frame the bow as your boat clears the marina and opens onto Biscayne Bay.

Star Island & Millionaires’ Row

Low throttle past Star Island estates and Venetian Island bridges. Your captain holds the sightline for photos from the bow.

Swim & Island Stops

On three-hour charters and longer, your captain docks or anchors at clear island beaches when conditions allow — the same swim-ready stops guests photograph on every departure. Swim entry happens when seas and visibility support safe access for your party.

Sunset Return

Golden-hour departures route back with the skyline behind your stern. Glass towers reflect off the bay as your group gathers on deck for the final hour.

Biscayne Bay sits inside Biscayne National Park — ninety-five percent water, with sea grass beds and migratory marine life visible from the swim platform at anchor. Your captain routes within Florida FWC boating safety guidelines on every departure.

Private boat tour docked at a Miami island beach — turquoise swim stop on your Biscayne Bay charter with Miami Tours and Water Adventures
Island Swim Stops

Docked at the Island. Turquoise Water at Your Feet.

This is the moment guests talk about after they book: your captain docks at a clear island beach, the swim platform drops, and your group steps into waist-deep Biscayne Bay water with no strangers anywhere on the boat.

Three-hour charters and longer give your captain room for island time, skyline loops, and a golden-hour return. Book four hours if swim stops and photos are the priority.

Logistics & Policies

Everything You Need Before Departure

Marina Meet-Up

Marina meet-up location, arrival time, and captain contact are emailed after you book. Arrive at least ten minutes early with photo ID and the card used at checkout.

Arrival Time

Late arrivals reduce your charter time. Your captain departs on schedule. Plan parking and rideshare drop-off with the extra ten minutes in mind.

What to Bring

Towels, sunscreen, sunglasses, photo ID, and your booking confirmation. Pack drinks and snacks in soft-sided coolers. No rolling ice chests.

Alcohol Policy

Guests 21 and older may bring alcohol with valid ID. Water and ice are already aboard. Soft-sided coolers only.

Swim Stops

Swim stops occur when the captain judges conditions calm enough for your party. You still enjoy a full bay cruise when seas run up. Rough ocean days may shift routing to the Intracoastal.

Weather Protocol

The captain makes the final call on departure for thunderstorms, sustained heavy rain, extreme cold, or winds above twenty-five miles per hour. Gray forecasts alone do not automatically cancel.

Gratuity

Gratuity is not included. Cash minimum suggested: $30 per booked hour for your captain. Paid directly on board at your discretion.

Cancellation

Cancellations must be emailed to Miamiwateradventures@outlook.com and confirmed in writing. See the full refund schedule. Questions? Use our contact page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Private Boat Tour Adventure — FAQ

How should we book the Private Boat Tour Adventure?

Reserve one booking for your entire party — pricing covers the private boat for up to eleven guests, not one ticket per person. Select your hourly block at checkout on Peek; the booking summary lists the charter total and deposit for the duration you choose. Marina meet-up and boarding details are emailed after you book.

What is included in the Private Boat Tour Adventure rate?

Your rate includes a 100% private boat for your group, a USCG-licensed captain, fuel for your booked hours, a cooler with ice and bottled water, and a Bimini top for shade. You may bring your own drinks and snacks in soft-sided bags. Gratuity for the captain is separate and paid in cash on board.

Where do we meet for the Private Boat Tour Adventure?

Marina meet-up location, arrival time, and captain contact are emailed in your booking confirmation after you reserve through Peek. Arrive at least ten minutes before departure with photo ID and the card used to book. Questions before you pay? Use our contact page.

What is the deposit and cancellation policy?

Deposits by duration: 1 hour ($100), 2 hours ($180), 3 hours ($330), 4 hours ($440), 5 hours ($525), 6 hours ($650). Refund schedule on deposit: 100% at 7+ days written notice; 75% at 5 days; 50% at 72 hours; 25% at 48 hours; no refund within 48 hours. Present the same card and ID used online at check-in. Cancellations must be emailed to Miamiwateradventures@outlook.com and confirmed in writing. Full terms at Terms & Billing Conditions.

How does gratuity work on the Private Boat Tour Adventure?

Gratuity is not included in the charter rate. MTWA suggests a cash minimum of $30 per booked hour for your captain, given directly on board when service earns it. Cash is preferred. Gratuity is entirely at your discretion.

What footwear should we wear in the water?

Wear water shoes, fins, or sandals before entering the water or stepping off the boat. Shells, rocks, and debris on sandbars and swim stops can cut bare feet. This applies during swim stops, beach visits, and any time you leave the deck into the water.

Do we need to accept the terms before booking?

Yes. The Peek booking flow requires confirmation that you have read MTWA terms and billing conditions before payment. Authoritative language lives at Terms & Billing Conditions. Review that page before you complete checkout.

How do we cancel a reservation in writing?

Email Miamiwateradventures@outlook.com to cancel. MTWA must reply in writing to confirm the cancellation. Verbal or social-media requests do not qualify. Refund percentages follow the schedule in our terms.
