What a Private Bay Day Feels Like

Your confirmation email carries marina meet-up time and captain contact. You step aboard with your group only. The skyline opens as Government Cut falls astern.

Use the hours for photos past Star Island, a swim stop when the captain calls conditions calm, or a slow cruise with the cooler you packed. Longer blocks give room for sandbar time or an Intracoastal detour when bay seas run up.

Logistics & Policies

Everything You Need Before Departure

Marina Meet-Up

Marina meet-up location, arrival time, and captain contact are emailed after you book. Arrive at least ten minutes early with photo ID and the card used at checkout.

Arrival Time

Late arrivals reduce your charter time. Your captain departs on schedule. Plan parking and rideshare drop-off with the extra ten minutes in mind.

What to Bring

Towels, sunscreen, sunglasses, photo ID, and your booking confirmation. Pack drinks and snacks in soft-sided coolers. No rolling ice chests.

Alcohol Policy

Guests 21 and older may bring alcohol with valid ID. Water and ice are already aboard. Soft-sided coolers only.

Swim Stops

Swim stops occur when the captain judges conditions calm enough for your party. You still enjoy a full bay cruise when seas run up. Rough ocean days may shift routing to the Intracoastal.

Weather Protocol

The captain makes the final call on departure for thunderstorms, sustained heavy rain, extreme cold, or winds above twenty-five miles per hour. Gray forecasts alone do not automatically cancel.

Gratuity

Gratuity is not included. Cash minimum suggested: $30 per booked hour for your captain. Paid directly on board at your discretion.

Cancellation

Cancellations must be emailed to Miamiwateradventures@outlook.com and confirmed in writing. See the full refund schedule. Questions? Use our contact page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Private Boat Tour Adventure — FAQ

How should we book the Private Boat Tour Adventure?

Reserve one booking for your entire party — pricing covers the private boat for up to eleven guests, not one ticket per person. Select your hourly block at checkout on Peek; the booking summary lists the charter total and deposit for the duration you choose. Marina meet-up and boarding details are emailed after you book.

What is included in the Private Boat Tour Adventure rate?

Your rate includes a 100% private boat for your group, a USCG-licensed captain, fuel for your booked hours, a cooler with ice and bottled water, and a Bimini top for shade. You may bring your own drinks and snacks in soft-sided bags. Gratuity for the captain is separate and paid in cash on board.

Where do we meet for the Private Boat Tour Adventure?

Marina meet-up location, arrival time, and captain contact are emailed in your booking confirmation after you reserve through Peek. Arrive at least ten minutes before departure with photo ID and the card used to book. Questions before you pay? Use our contact page.

What is the deposit and cancellation policy?

Deposits by duration: 1 hour ($100), 2 hours ($180), 3 hours ($330), 4 hours ($440), 5 hours ($525), 6 hours ($650). Refund schedule on deposit: 100% at 7+ days written notice; 75% at 5 days; 50% at 72 hours; 25% at 48 hours; no refund within 48 hours. Present the same card and ID used online at check-in. Cancellations must be emailed to Miamiwateradventures@outlook.com and confirmed in writing. Full terms at Terms & Billing Conditions.

How does gratuity work on the Private Boat Tour Adventure?

Gratuity is not included in the charter rate. MTWA suggests a cash minimum of $30 per booked hour for your captain, given directly on board when service earns it. Cash is preferred. Gratuity is entirely at your discretion.

What footwear should we wear in the water?

Wear water shoes, fins, or sandals before entering the water or stepping off the boat. Shells, rocks, and debris on sandbars and swim stops can cut bare feet. This applies during swim stops, beach visits, and any time you leave the deck into the water.

Do we need to accept the terms before booking?

Yes. The Peek booking flow requires confirmation that you have read MTWA terms and billing conditions before payment. Authoritative language lives at Terms & Billing Conditions. Review that page before you complete checkout.

How do we cancel a reservation in writing?

Email Miamiwateradventures@outlook.com to cancel. MTWA must reply in writing to confirm the cancellation. Verbal or social-media requests do not qualify. Refund percentages follow the schedule in our terms.
