MTWA (Miami Tours and Water Adventures)
Effective date: October 16, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how MTWA (Miami Tours and Water Adventures) (“we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on miamitoursandwateradventures.com. Please read it together with our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. They let the site remember things, such as your cookie choices, or count how many people visit a page. Similar technologies, such as scripts, pixels and browser storage, work in much the same way. In this policy we call all of them “cookies”.

  • First-party cookies are set by our own website.
  • Third-party cookies are set by another company’s domain, for example a service built into our pages.
  • Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay for a set period.

How we ask for your consent

The first time you visit, a cookie banner offers Accept All, Reject or Preferences. Apart from strictly necessary cookies, we don’t set any cookies until you agree to them. Google Analytics stays off (“denied” by default, through Google Consent Mode v2) unless you accept statistics cookies. You can change your mind at any time (see “How to change your cookie preferences” below).

About the New Relic cookie: This cookie is set on New Relic’s own domain (nr-data.net). It appears to be loaded with the Peek booking widget rather than by our own website code.

Booking with Peek: When you click “Book Now”, the booking and payment form is provided by Peek (book.peek.com) in a window on our site. Peek may use its own cookies or browser storage to run the booking and checkout. Those are controlled by Peek and covered by Peek’s Privacy Policy.

Other services that load on our pages

Our pages also use the services below. As far as we know, none of them set cookies on our site, but your browser sends them your IP address and basic technical information when they load:

  • Ahrefs Web Analytics: privacy-focused website statistics that work without cookies.
  • Google Fonts: shows the fonts on our website.
  • Google Maps: the map embedded on some pages. Google may set its own cookies if you interact with the map.
  • Google reviews: shows Google reviews and reviewer profile photos.
  • Filestack (filepicker.io): loaded as part of the Peek booking widget.

We review our cookies from time to time. The list above may change when we add or remove services.

How to change your cookie preferences

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it. Click the cookie preferences (gear) button at the bottom-left of any page, turn the categories on or off, and save. Once you withdraw consent, we stop setting those cookies. You can also delete cookies already stored in your browser (see below).

We remember your choice for a limited period. After that, we may ask you again.

Opting out by email

You can also ask us to opt you out of non-essential cookies, or out of any sale or sharing of your personal information, by emailing Miamiwateradventures@outlook.com. We honor these requests. For cookies, the simplest way is to choose “Reject” in the banner or use the gear button, because your choice is stored in your browser.

Browser controls

Most browsers let you see, block and delete cookies. Blocking all cookies may stop parts of the site, such as the booking tool, from working. Help pages for common browsers:

Google also offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics.

Third-party websites and services

Our site links to and embeds services run by other companies. We don’t control their cookies or how they use data, so please read their policies:
